GENESIS OF ZËIYT
"As a child, I watched my grandmothers, Fatima and Ghazali, anoint their hair and skin with olive oil, whispering stories of sunlit groves and the sacred soil of Palestine. To them, the olive tree was devotion—its oil a memory and medicine, a ritual and generational secret handed down.
Years later, I returned to those ancient trees. I anointed myself, wove oil into my hair, as if braiding memory into flesh. Slowly, something long-buried began to bloom.
The olive tree is resilient.
It roots deep, grows stronger with age, and keeps giving—even in hardship.
From that quiet act of return, ZËIYT was born."
